Privacy

low web extension do not use any tracker, any ads service and don’t collect any data.

No sensitive data are saved.

Some informations are saved locally (localStorage) for the operation of the extension like : options parameters.

Website content and resources modification

• The extension modify part of content and resources of various websites :
• modify videos to lower quality for Youtube, Dailymotion and Vimeo
• modify iframe embed of videos from youtube, dailymotion, vimeo, facebook and twitch
• modify <video /> attributes (autoplay=false, loop=false)
• modify GIF <img /> : gif are only animated on over and load low quality from Giphy
• hide widget from social networks (like Facebook like/share, Twitter/Instagram embeds)
• hide avatar <img /> from gravatar and disqus
• disable css animations and transition (disabled for the moment)

Web browsing activity

• redirection to low quality video embed for Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Twitch, Facebook
• block unoptimized embed videos from Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Twitch, Facebook
• block avatar images from gravatar, discus, twitter
• add HTTP header Save-data:on to all requests

External Communication

• the extension call Giphy API to gets informations and size of Giphy medias / https://api.giphy.com/v1/gifs
• external script to Dailymotion Player JS API is injected into pages that contain Dailymotion video embed https://api.dmcdn.net/all.js
• call to oEmbed services to gets informations about embedded medias
